Art & Craft Camp

8 - 12 Years

What better way to keep the kids occupied this school holidays then getting their hands dirty and their minds creative with a range of arts and crafts workshops with your favourite local artists!

The iCreated Studio artists have joined forces to put together an amazing school holiday program that will give your kids the opportunity to explore a wide range of mediums from traditional Mexican folk art painting to sustainable sculpture building and everything in between!

With morning and afternoon workshops every week day during the school holidays, you can book the sessions that suit your schedule!

Individual workshops are set at $45 each or use the code: GROUPPASS at checkout when you book 5 workshops or more to get one free! Classes are limited to 12 per workshop, so we suggest booking as soon as possible to avoid missing out!

To maximise creative time, the Art & Craft Camp workshops are not catered - they are workshops only. To minimise interruption and avoid allergy issues, please do not send food or drinks with your child. We will have drinking water available at the studio.

Participants will need to be dropped off and picked up within 10 minutes either side of the workshop time to allow for set up and preparation.

Sustainable Sculptures

During this workshop we will be creating a sustainable bird sculpture inspired by artist Barbara Kobylinska. We will be experimenting with recycled bottles, foil and clay to create our “Bottle Birds”.

Once our sculptures are complete, they will painted in a bright design and sealed to take home!

Mini Surfboard Painting

Bringing out our inner surfer and hang 10, we will we paint our very own custom mini surfboard during this interactive workshop.

With every colour you can think of and plenty of design ideas, we will create a one of a kind door sign or bedroom art mini surfboard.

Hand-Build Ceramics

Join legendary Moody Rabbit artist - Hannah Goggs and learn the art of hand-build ceramics!

Hannah will show you how to create your very own ceramic flower or rainbow. You will create your design, then paint it.*

Attend more than one session and you can create a whole range of designs!

Texture Art

Join artist Lorraine from Lorraine Salt Art to explore all things texture art!

With two texture art sessions to choose from, Lorraine will guide you through how to create a textural masterpiece using her custom blended texture paste and acrylic paint.

Expression Art

Join artist Lorraine from Lorraine Salt Art to use unusual mediums to explore art!

Lorraine’s workshops are design to create curiosity, engage the senses and explore expression through art experiences. These are a “must do” to light the creative spark!

Amate Bark Style Painting

During this workshop we explore the ancient Mexican folk art painting style to create our very own Amate Bark style painting. Using brown paper, we will create our own version of bark to give our painting a rustic look, then we will create our drawing design in the traditional Mexican style before we complete our art with acrylic paint and markers.

Ocean Keyring

Using real beach sand, ultra-violet resin and alcohol inks to create a magical ocean scene. With added ocean theme charms, we will create the perfect key/bag ring.

This workshop gives a taste of the techniques used in larger resin projects though it has the advantage of using UV light to set the resin immediately!

Paint Pouring

We will unlock the artistic potential and venture into a realm of imagination at our one-of-a-kind paint pouring experience, During the workshop we will mix a special blend of acrylic paint to create our base paint pouring medium. Then using our supercell colours we will make paint pouring magic as the colourful cells emerge!

Grotti Lotti Ink Bird

With inspiration taken from artist Grotti Lotti, we engage in hands-on experimentation with various visual arts processes and materials for this workshop.

We will work with acrylic inks, markers, brushes, pipettes, and skewers to apply ink in layers to create a native bird masterpiece on watercolour paper.
